Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Nichols AI handles information when you use the Link2Machine developer preview, hosted MCP relay, account connection, and related support services.
Information Link2Machine processes
- Account information: authentication identifiers and account information such as email address when supplied by the identity provider.
- Machine information: enrolled machine identifiers, enrollment metadata, and connection or online status needed to route requests.
- Tool requests and results: parameters, machine-selected requests, returned results, and execution receipts needed to complete remote MCP operations. Depending on the tool you choose, this can include file contents, file paths, command or program inputs, process information, and other data from the enrolled machine.
- Operational information: security, reliability, abuse-prevention, and troubleshooting records needed to operate the service.
- Support communications: information you send when requesting help or reporting an issue.
How information is used
Nichols AI uses this information to authenticate users, enroll and identify machines, route requested operations, return results, enforce account and node isolation, maintain security and reliability, troubleshoot failures, and provide support.
Local machine boundaries
Link2Machine is designed so that the enrolled machine enforces its configured root and capability boundaries. The hosted relay does not grant a machine capability that the local controller has not enabled. Referenced local secrets are intended to remain on the enrolled machine rather than being returned as ordinary tool output.
Service providers and AI clients
Nichols AI uses infrastructure providers to operate Link2Machine, including Cloudflare for hosted relay infrastructure and an identity provider for account authentication. If you use Link2Machine through an AI client such as ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, or another MCP client, that provider may also process your prompts and Link2Machine results under its own terms and privacy policy.
Model training
Link2Machine is an execution and control layer, not a model-training service. Nichols AI does not use routed machine files or tool results to train Link2Machine models.
Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service and to meet applicable legal obligations. Retention can vary by data type and operational need.
Security
Nichols AI uses encrypted transport, scoped credentials, account-bound routing, local capability controls, and other technical measures intended to protect service data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may stop using Link2Machine and disconnect enrolled machines. For privacy, account, or deletion requests, contact hello@nicholsai.com.
