Terms of Use

Last updated September 29, 2026

These terms govern access to the Link2Machine developer preview, hosted MCP relay, local controller distribution, and related services provided by Nichols AI.

1. Authorized use

You may use Link2Machine only with computers, accounts, files, services, and networks that you own or are authorized to access and control. You are responsible for the actions initiated through your account and enrolled machines.

2. Consequential operations

Link2Machine can expose state-changing capabilities such as writing or deleting files, running programs, signaling processes, controlling services, and executing code when those capabilities are enabled on an enrolled machine. Review requested actions and permission settings carefully. Maintain appropriate backups for data you cannot replace.

3. Credentials and machine enrollment

Keep account credentials, node credentials, API keys, passwords, and other secrets confidential. Do not share enrollment credentials with people who should not control the corresponding machine. Notify Nichols AI if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.

4. Developer preview

Link2Machine is currently a developer preview. Features, supported clients, native platforms, limits, pricing, and availability may change. Preview functionality may contain defects or interruptions.

5. Prohibited use

Do not use Link2Machine to gain unauthorized access, bypass security controls, interfere with other users or systems, distribute malware, or violate applicable law or third-party rights.

6. Third-party services

Link2Machine may be used through third-party AI clients and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and policies. Nichols AI is not responsible for changes or outages in third-party services outside its control.

7. Ownership

You retain rights in your machine data and content. Nichols AI retains rights in the Link2Machine service and implementation except for components distributed under separate open-source licenses.

8. Suspension and termination

Nichols AI may suspend or terminate access for security, abuse, violation of these terms, or operational reasons. You may stop using the service at any time and disconnect enrolled machines.

9. Disclaimer

The developer preview is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nichols AI does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that all actions or integrations will be error-free.
